Disney Art

I love this. I've decided that I'm really into art from the late 50's - mid 60's. I just love the angular look to it all. All the curves and the overpowering points really bring emphasis to the design. It's brilliant.

This is a painting done for the apartment for Walt Disney's family that was supposed to be built in the rooms above the Pirates of the Caribbean. However the apartment wasn't completed prior to Walt's death. But they kept the painting and put it up in the Disneyland Art Gallery that used the space instead.


It kind of reminds me of one of my favorite Disney renditions that was also displayed in the same gallery for a while
