Just for fun: Disney Desperate Housewives

Say JUMP! Down on Jump Street!

I have a new addiction. Way back in the foreign times of 1984, there was show that brought to pass one of todays legends, although he was only in his youth (and a horrible actor at the time)we had no idea the magnificence that would come from it.

If you haven't guessed already from the title of this post, the show is 21 Jump Street. It follows four baby-faced police officers (Baby-faced was not my word choice). Because of their young appearances, they are sent to a special unit of under-cover cops. The show follows them as they are enlisted in different high schools to fight any crimes and stop drug trafficking.

It's actually a pretty decent show. I've never been one of those Johnny Depp crazies who thinks he's the hottest man in America (or France, since he doesn't actually live here). Who wants to be attracted to a man old enough to be your father (granted a young father, but it's still possible). Now I love older men, but no one over 50 please... But besides Johnny Depp, there are some surprising guest appearances by young Pauly Shore and an EXTREMELY young Brad Pitt... he looked so much better then without the weird Goat-thing he's got going on at present.

The first three episodes are now available on Hulu, so I recommend it full heartedly!!

Road Tripin'... Sunday driver

I actually really enjoy driving. It's relaxing and just an automatic thing. You can empty your mind and just drive. You get to watch the scenery change. It's funny to watch all the drivers go by you singing to their music. You think it's funny until you realize that you're singing to your own. I love singing in the car. There's no one around to hear you and its just freeing.

I drive down to Provo when I can. My friend Tabitha lives there. It's great. It's a six hour drive from flat desert-like lands to being surrounded in a bowl by mountains. I love it. But it's nothing like the trees of Washington. I miss them terribly.

I also really miss Washington drivers. Idaho (and sometimes Utah drivers) are HORRIBLE!! There's reckless and just plain dumb. They tail gate you all the time and they always speed. I guess what bothers me the most is the tail gating though. It's just rude, not to mention extremely dangerous. Ugh! It gives me the worst road rage! Seriously, I'm getting more angry just thinking about it! *Sigh* ok... I gotta let it go. I'm only going to school in Idaho, I'm not living in Idaho and I never will!

But I've got my ticket to ride...

Because I LOVE GRAPE JELLY!!!!!

So I was hanging out with Gabe the other day when I found her awesome Ukulele. It was out of tune but I know a couple of guys who are musically handy with tuning guitars. So I took it back with me in hope of finding out how to do it myself. I looked online and found an online tuner. I would push a button and it repeatedly played the tune so I was able to match it by ear. And I DID IT!! That's right, without ever learning how to play any kind of stringed instrument, I was able to tune a Ukulele! I even went online and found the cords. I learned 5 cords!! I'm totally excited! And I totally want a Ukulele now.

I know, I know... you're probably thinking, this is another one of Holly's bizarre hobbies. There was the long boarding, the tie-dying, the scuba diving, etc. Well, I would long board if there wasn't about three inches of ice on the ground. I would tie-dye if it wasn't expensive, and it's kind of hard to go scuba diving in REXBURG! But it's ok. I'm not about to spend money on an instrument that I have no time to play with. But it was a fun achievement for this week.

Holly Hallmark Photography

So I love photography. I'm really working towards becoming a wedding photographer. I've got a long ways to go but I'm working on it. But to give myself practice, I take pictures for free or just of things around me.

I know I do tend to take a lot of pictures of my brother's family and of Disney but I can't help it, they're all just so beautiful!

This is how I want it!!!!

A guy who worked at Disney proposed to his girl friend on Main Street. I TOTALLY need to be proposed to in Disneyland! Except I don't need it to be QUITE so dramatic...

Watch her face!
