I talk about butts every day.

But not in a perverse kind of way. In fact I get paid to do it.

"Parents, please make sure your little bugs sit on their bottoms!"

"Sit on your bum little bug!"

"I need all bugs to be firmly seated on their behinds!"

"Please sit down on your bums or I have to stop the ride!!!!"

I have never talked about butts so much as I have in my whole life than I have in the last two months. So parents please, keep your children fully seated. Or we will stop the ride.

-I woke up naturally before 9

-I was having a down day so I went out and saw Captain America by myself. It was fantastic!

-The weather is starting to cool down. I love it.

-Two roommates are out of town, so I have my whole room to myself!! ... I will never feel like an adult as long as I am sharing my room with another girl... and sleeping on a bunk bed.

-A little girl called me pretty. It made my day.

-I made homemade potato salad today. Made me miss summer BBQ's with my mother and family friends.

Disclaimer: Yeah, that's actually me. I left my name-tag at home and "Gabe" was one of the few options of name-tags that were abandoned. My other options were "Teo", "Marianne", or "Steffan". And the churro was given to me by an amazing family that I helped out. The father was so grateful that he went out and bought me a churro. After telling him I couldn't accept it 4 times, he actually put it in my pocket (it's a small pocket, so it was awkward). So I took it and I got permission to keep it. I had to carry it around with me until my break but it was delicious.

Disneyland is officially 56 years old!!!

I'm working at Bugs tomorrow after almost a month at Fliks Fun Fair. I have missed the cave. After a short shift tomorrow, I plan on going out and celebrating the birth of this amazing place!

Steph and I are going to ride all of the classics in commemoration. Then read Walt's dedication speech and ride the train. It will be a day of infamy!

In case you don't understand... those are dancing candles off the top of Disneyland's 5th birthday cake. It's from one of my favorite Disneyland specials. Jeeze I just love it all. Such a dork.

Confront or not to confront? That is my question.

I'm kind of sick of men who say they'll do one thing and then turn around and do another. But you'd think I would have learned the first time things like this happen.

Good time the sucker is out of town. I need time to calm down.

But I haven't decided if I'm going to let him know what I think in a very rash way. Or just be casual and move on.

I'm leaning toward the second. But the first sounds more fun.

I can paint with all the colors of the wind

So I can't normally have my nails painted fun because of work so since I'm off for the next two days... I went a little bit crazy. And I LOVE it!

Today has been a horrible day

And it's only 12:00

My body hurts and I'm so tired. I think I'm starting to realize that the end of my program is almost over so I'm just crashing.

I was able to go home from work early. But not until after getting a freaking huge spider bite that made my leg swell up. So now I'm just reading, relaxing and listening to records. And my wonderful father is helping me go get a massage in a few hours.

I'm not really big on physical affection. And since I'm not there to give a friend a hug, I'm going to do this:

This was taken by M. My dear friend. I think he really likes trees, because he photographs them a lot.

But what I thought of when I saw this photo made me really think about things that people are going through. This tree looks like just any old tree. It's got knots, the bark is ruff and jagged. But the point of this obstacle and this photo, is that you can always look at it from a different angle.

There's always a positive to every negative. Whether that positive is a lesson learned, a new awareness, or even a success, you just have to look for it.
