la famille de mon pere

This is a little family photo I found of my Dad when he was growing up... he's the goon in the red tie, in the front row.

I love this photo because they are perfectly in center. My grandpa probably took it and he was always very meticulous. I love the harsh light of day and how it totally drabs everyone out in this photo.

You can just tell that it's one of those photos that no one wanted to be in, but my adorable Aunt Tracy (the young girl in the front) smiles on in the front row next to the goober that is my Uncle Alan and my Aunt Penny (the stunning one in the red dress) looks totally glamourous as usual.

But I kind of like them all. I guess I'll keep them around.

My blood is part Earle Grey

I do love a strong cup of tea. I'm a bit partial to Earle Grey and Peppermint but I think I go through about 3 cups a day. I think it comes from being raised my a proper british woman (Love you more mother!). I love being so close to my heritage.

Remember when...

Do you ever see children's toys and think "Mine were never that cool"? These toys get cooler and cooler and it's getting to the point where I just want to play with them myself!

Do you remember when you wrote your christmas list and the last thing you would ever want to put on that list was clothes? It was 100% toys. I miss that. I don't remember when my list changed from toys to necessities. Crazy days, I miss my youth haha

Adventures of Holly and Bubba

So my childhood friend Conner, aka "Bubba" is on a mission for the church. I often send him letters once a week. But one weekend... ok conference weekend... I was bored of coloring so I decided to create something new to color.

And so I created this comic for Bubba to entertain him. They are all adventures that we've gone through. I LOVE it! Enjoy!

When we were young...

Remember this?

This is the product from one of the many rediculous and sleepless sleep-overs that I shared with Gabrielle Murphy. I found it going through old files in my computer... Of course when you're friends you have to lay down the line of who claims who... these were ours...
