Holly Days: Home Sweet Home

I guess when you don't have a home, or even a real place to come home, you start to think about the future. I think about making a home for my self. A place that's my own that no one can take away from me. I think about the family I'll build in it and the strength and security I get from it. Living in an apartment with 5 other girls, we tend to accumulate a lot of stuff. I love the idea that someday I will live in a home where ALL the shelves will be mine. And I won't have to hide food because all the food in the fridge will be mine. I won't have to worry about how fast I get my laundry out of the dryer or who's hair ball is left in the shower drain. I'll be able to just sit in my living room without the constant traffic of roommates and I can even walk around the place in my UNDERWEAR if I wanted!

I like to think of myself as a traditionalist and a modernist. So I like to imagine how I'll combine the two to create a home that shows me as a person. I want to incorporate the things in my life that make up ME. I'll mix the old and the new. And of course, there will be Disney.

I'm a Blog-lover. I can waste so much of my time surfing through other's blogs; home decor, sewing, vintage sites, and one of my favorites, a Disney Wedding blogs. I found some wonderful things and ideas, so I started collecting pictures of things that I liked or ideas that I want to use. So below is a few of the photos that I've collected to create my own home
