Harry Potter

I needed to post this picture. I found it on my new friend Gianna's blog (which is freaking sweet. I don't know anyone who posts as much as many times a day as she does and I love it). It reminded me of Harry Potter and the fact that the new movie is coming out tonight and I don't get to go to the midnight showing because I'll be getting off a plane :( BUT, heart will be there in spirit.
On my drive down to Boise, since that's where I flew out, I was listening to the last Harry Potter book on CD. I didn't even make it half way! But it was so fantastic.
And so to continue on with the Harry Potter theme, I'm reading the first, Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone IN FRENCH. OooooOOOOoooo. It's really not that big of a deal. It's pretty basic vocabulary but I'm really enjoying it. It's been a really long time since I even read the first book so it's really interesting still, plus I'm learning a lot more vocab.
When I was working in WDW (Walt Disney World) I worked with this awesome gentleman named Steve. Steve didn't speak french but he read it. I don't really know how that works, but he was always telling me that if I want to get better in comprehending french or even pronouncing it, I need to read it. Plus it helps me work on my informal communication skills. He ended up giving me a french detective book he finished reading for a farewell present but I took his advice and bought HP "en francais". I'm a good 1/3 way done and then I hope to move on to the next one. But man, Amazon.com in french is freaky! Amazon.fr

SO Excited!!!
I am SO excited today!! Wanna know why?... Because today is the day that I start my trek back to the big NYC!
I've still got so much to do! I've got to go to class and turn in a huge project I've been dying over for Graphic Design and then I'm hoping to leave right after my Photography class. I'm not done packing and I have to get some homework assignments squared away but then I'm off!!
One place that I'm the most excited for is my favorite store, Pearl River Mart. It's this HUGE two storied asian mart that has everything from rice paper journals, the best beaded dragon slippers, dishes, chopsticks and cheesy Buddha dolls. Like the photo I took below...

Kissssssing
This is one of my favorite new blogs to follow. It's full of beautiful and romantic photos and hilarious quotes. Check it out HERE

The Love Lair
I want this bedroom! It's like a little Love Lair (*Growl*).
But I was thinking... I would really like to live in a loft-style apartment. But then at the same time, I can go through paranoid moments where I will want doors closed. Plus if I live in a loft with no doors, and my family comes to visit?... yeah doors would be nice...
Maybe when I get my loft/ Love Lair, I'll be rich enough to pay for a mother-in-law apartment for guests haha!
Absolutely Beautiful
Mac and Jack
Michael Jackson and Paul McCartney!! What the heck?! Perfect!
LGMs
I love Disney and I love art, so when the two meet, it's... well... magical! Haha, so cheesey. Check out these adorable sculptures of LGM's (Little Green Men) from Pixar's Toy Story.
Oh Man... THIS I really need!
This is something my cute sister-in-law Stacey showed me and now I'm totally obsessed with it. I like to stay true to my English heritage but then when I saw this, it was just too much! I love it so much! Preferably the gray or the green. SO awesome! Go to the site HERE
